The Story
What if history had happened differently?
What if history had happened differently? The Stories They Didn’t Tell You: Alternate History reimagines three pivotal moments where the oppressed refuse the fate history gave them. From rebellion and revolution to new civilizations and unlikely alliances, these stories challenge everything we think we know about power, freedom, and survival. Three stories. One question: Who gets to write history?
Book One: The Tide Turns — 1621
When West African families disappear into the transatlantic slave trade, Kofi and Nala fight back against the system that took everything from them. But when the hunters become the hunted, they must decide whether justice can exist without vengeance.
Book Two: The Southern Crowns — 1650s
African settlers establish powerful communities across southern Britain, France and Germany. But as their influence grows, so does their separation from the Europeans around them. A new generation must confront a difficult question: Can those who escaped oppression avoid becoming oppressors themselves?
One World — 1500s
On Turtle Island, Indigenous nations, Mali explorers, and Vikings have built a world of cooperation. When Spanish ships arrive claiming a land that was never empty, three civilizations must decide whether to unite and fight — or risk losing the world they built.
